Mission Statement: We are a diverse group of spiritual women encouraging inspirational support and empowerment for all women who are on a conscious spiritual path. We believe that this is a time in history when the wisdom of women is needed for the healing the world.
Vision: To provide opportunities for awakening and claiming the sacred feminine.
Next scheduled meeting:
Friday, September 21, 7:00 - 9:00 PM
topic: Making Mabon Count (Mabon is the Fall Equinox)
Speaker: Rev. Carol Bodeau
As we welcome the first breath of Autumn, we can count both our blessings and our hopes.
With the Fall Equinox (which arrives on September 20) we have the opportunity to both examine the gifts of the recent spring and summer, and also to name the unmet needs and desires in our hearts. Let's drum, dream and vision for ourselves, and for our world in this time of high energy and great possibility. Please bring a drum or percussion instrument.
Rev. Carol Bodeau is a mystic, minister for the Westside Unitarian-Universtalist Church, and earth-teacher. Her PhD work focused on the intersection of spirituality, American History, and Native American issues. She brings the perspective of magical hope to the challenges of our lives. Her greatest joy is to embody spirit fully, and to encourage and inspire others to do the same. Many will remember her very well-received programs in Aug. 2017 (a meditation for the eclipse) and in July 2016 ( honoring native wisdom).
For more information call Lisa Mixon 688-8234 or Linda Sammataro 546-0438.

We look forward to you becoming part of Smoky Mountain Women of Wisdom! See you there! Namaste.
